Last updated 19 October 2026. This policy covers the Daysafe apps for iPhone and Android.
The countries you were in each day, the location readings and notes that show it, the rules you follow and the trips you plan. They are stored only on your phone, and in your own phone backup (iCloud or computer backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android) if you back up your phone.
Nothing. Daysafe has no account and no server, and it doesn't use analytics, advertising or any third-party code that collects data. We, the makers of Daysafe, never receive your locations, your days or anything else you enter.
Daysafe asks for your location only to work out which country you're in. The country is found on the phone from a built-in map of borders. Readings stay on the phone so you can see why each day was counted. You can switch location access off at any time in your phone's settings; Daysafe then relies on what you enter yourself.
If you allow notifications, Daysafe sends an evening check-in and, during a free trial, a reminder before the trial ends. They are scheduled on the phone.
Daysafe Pro is sold by Apple on the App Store and by Google on Google Play. They handle payment; Daysafe never sees your payment details. The app only learns from Apple or Google whether you have Pro.
Daysafe is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Delete the app and everything it stored on the phone is gone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
